Karma – The universal law that is as true as gravity...cause and effect. (7/22/2018)
“Karma moves in two directions. If we act and think virtuously, the seed we plant will result in happiness. If we act non-virtuously, suffering results.” Sakyong Mipham
Karma means that a person's actions and thoughts decide their fate in the future.
In the Buddhist and Hindu religions, it ties to your reincarnation. In Christian theology it ties to this simple verse… 2 Corinthians 9:6 - “The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”
What does this mean to you?
That your thoughts, intent and actions will influence your future positively or negatively.
That when you think or do something repeatedly, you begin to personally identify with it, and your inner identity becomes your outer reality.
Cause and Effect: It is as simple as this statement… Change your thoughts and everything else will change.
“Karma exists, ‘chickens do come home to roost’ as my mother used to say. There is always a day of reckoning.” - EWL
