KAREEM TOMLINSON APPOINTED MANAGING DIRECTOR AT GRACEKENNEDY INVESTMENTS

GraceKennedy Financial Group (GKFG) has announced the appointment of Kareem Tomlinson as Managing Director – GK Investments, effective November 1, 2023.

Mr. Tomlinson brings over 14 years of experience to the role, in areas such as investment banking, portfolio risk management, treasury accounting and client advisory services.

“Kareem will provide strategic leadership and direction for GK Investments, while utilizing his strong relationship building expertise and extensive experience in the financial sector to achieve the Company’s objectives,” said GraceKennedy Group CEO and Chairman of GKFG, Don Wehby.

“We believe Kareem will contribute significantly to the continued growth and success of our investment arm, reinforcing our position as a leader in the regional financial services sector," added Steven Whittingham, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, GKFG.

Mr. Tomlinson also serves as a Director of Key Insurance Company Limited, DRT Communications and The Limners and Bards Limited (The LAB), is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (Caribbean Chapter), a Lecturer at the B&B Institute, and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Liguanea.

Mr. Tomlinson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Economics from the University of the West Indies. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
