Kantar Media wins 1st prize for Best Presentation at AEDEMO, the largest Spanish event for the TV industry?

Kantar Media took home the award for best presentation at the recent AEDEMO conference in Sitges (Spain).

The annual event brings together representatives from the media industry. This year's edition broke records with 463 registered participants from 160 different companies and 40 speakers including leaders from Paramount, HBO, YouTube, Atresmedia and RTVE.??

The award for best presentation, voted for by the participants saw Josep Cerezo, TV Panel Director and Joan Fernandez, Statistics Director take recognition in presenting the results of our last innovation with the introduction of a project that enhances audience measurement by ingesting connected TV data to expand the existing measurement system.

The expansion combines data from the TV audience measurement panel with data from Connected TVs, delivering more granular viewing data. With over six in ten Spanish households owning a Smart TV compatible with this technology the resulting data was seen as a ground-breaking innovation in advancing measurement in the market.??

This pilot project responds to Kantar Media's commitment to the industry to deliver a complete view of the audience. It enables niche channels to demonstrate their specialist audience, to promote strategies on cross-channel bundling and provides a solution for reliably measuring addressable advertising as it grows in importance in the viewing ecosystem.?

This latest accolade?follows suit from last year where Kantar Media was awarded Most Innovative for the presentation of streaming measurement?to the Spanish industry.??
