Kamilla Müller's Career Journey in Asset Management

We recently had the pleasure of hearing from Kamilla Müller to celebrate Women's History Month and her career in asset management.

Kamilla is an experienced asset manager who has a passion for learning, a commitment to sustainability, and a desire to make an impact for people and society. Her story is one of growth, learning, and ambition, and she has advice to offer those looking to break into the asset management industry. This is what she had to say:

" I started my career in a Nordea branch where I worked with everyday customers and saw the positive impact investing could have on their lives. Next, I took a role in Nordea Asset Management as an Assistant Portfolio Manager for some of the funds that supported these customers. Here I saw how asset management could change society for the better as we took bold steps to lead on sustainable funds. Now I lead a team in Trading where we are committed to servicing the portfolio managers while incorporating more digitalization in our ways of working.

It is an exciting industry to be part of with market conditions changing and developing every year keeping things interesting.

My career story is one driven by a desire to learn and make an impact for people and society. My advice to others is to stay curious, be bold and take opportunities with both hands. The asset management industry has many diverse roles, making space for many different backgrounds."
