KALEIDOSCOPE LIFE
Have you ever noticed that after a relationship break up, we use the phrase "my heart is broken?" Loss is one of the most difficult emotions we face but we all go through it in some capacity. How often over the years have you come out of a major event where you felt like you were shattered remains of your former self? Did you lose a loved one? Did you lose a job? Did you lose your health? Did you lose your business or life savings? Have you lost something that you were genuinely invested in and you feel a piece of you broke away? Or have you felt that life sometimes chips away at you a little at a time?
What if we were to collect the broken pieces and place them in a reflective environment and by adjusting the perspective realize there is a whole new way of seeing the soul of the person. There is magic to be discovered as we shift and shed a little light upon our fragmented parts and sometimes we simply need another to reframe our perspective to see our potential.
Happiness begins with self. A crucial part of post-traumatic growth lies in the way we look at ourselves and not what we think others think. PTG is about accepting what is, take the pieces and move on without trying to "fix" it. While it may seem hard to grasp how broken pieces serve, it is through sharing with others our vulnerability that we actually connect. It starts by showing up and this is where we interact together. However it is important to have the protection of a support network to hold you in a solid environment if you are triggered by old patterns that are dark.
There are two ways of emulating light: to be the luminary or to be the mirror that reflects it.

5 年My favourite image of "broken" would be that of a kintsugi. Are you familiar with this piece of art?
