Kaleidoscope 2022: A Glance of Indonesian Business Law

A grateful and reflective point of view would be ideal to close the year 2022.

First and foremost, we are grateful for our health, love from our family and friends, trust from our clients and colleagues, and every opportunity God has kindly blessed us this year.

This year, we saw that businesses started to improve its effort to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic. As a reflective view, #ACTIO20 is pleased to present, “Kaleidoscope 2022: A Glance of Indonesian Business Law”, with articles that cover a wide range of issues. We discussed the classification and transfer of shares and analyze the use of bank guarantees in construction projects. Our highlight of this issue is an in-depth look at the amendments to Ministry of Trade Regulation Number 20 of 2021 and Ministry of Trade Number 25 of 2022, which address import policy and arrangements in Indonesia. A brief comparative analysis of urgencies to implement private enforcement in Indonesia’s competition law is also being dealt with.
