Kalamaa is a non-political, non-sectarian and development oriented foundation.
Kalamaa is a non-profit organization and will operate as a charity.

The Kalamaa Foundation’s office is located at Salikenni in the front of the Hospital.
It is not a residence or in a residence and it is accessible directly from the street.
Kalamaa will have representation office in old Banjul too and are planning to
appoints 4 paid fulltime Gambian employees.
Kalamaa will have its own FM Community Radio, planning to have its own website in 4 languages and also try to develope a crowdfunding website too.
This foundation was created by the will of the founders to change the situation of
the community, improve comfort, hygiene, health and standard of living, provide
activity and employment, offer opportunities to his youth.
All the founding members together drafted the legal constitution of
the foundation which is included in the foundation's founding file.
Independently they also decided to gather around them and to unite with them
a larger assembly in this great project and to sign together a collective charter:
the Charter of the Kalamaa Foundation.
This charter is the best demonstration of the unity of the signatories
in and towards a common goal of the well-being and best-being of the
Central Badibu Community.
This charter is a collection of the moral and humanistic intentions of
all dignitaries, notables and active stakeholders in the life of the Central Badbu Community.
or who are inhabitants of the community and who have or have had important
functions in their lives valuing and bringing useful experience to the community.
Having all together without discrimination, without taking into
account misunderstandings, this Charter is a demonstration that everyone
wants to unite their efforts, their means and their energies to offer
the best future to the inhabitants of the 33 villages of the Central Badibu Community.
The documentation of the plans, budgets so fort will be on a homepage on Facebook which is produced as this is happening. The organisation for this foundation will also be published there.
