"Kaisparitu - A New Brand and a New Game"
From the notes of Kathleen (Kasper-Kat) Armstrong, (w)Holy Ghostwriter
?2024
Although the new brand has been something I've been working on for some time, the idea of posting the new brand with a new game idea became clear to me the more I continued to develop the game idea.
To be honest, the recent work I had just completed for Halloween was pushed aside, as was the new brand I had been putting together, when I challenged myself to consider how I would create a unique game, if asked to do so.
This last Saturday, when I was praying about how I should spend the day, this thought came to mind, "If you were given the task of creating an original game, what would it look like?"
The thought didn't take me by surprise, as I've noticed a trend that I ended up getting caught up in myself. For whatever reason, when someone creates something, others almost instantly take the idea and try to one-up the original idea.
For me, this happened when someone suggested me crafting a brand for myself, using the name Casper, and calling myself a ghostwriter. I've mentioned before that I knew of the friendly ghost that was created long ago and yet, I could also see a different way of approaching this--so I set to work on this idea, thinking it was a cute connection to make. When I searched online, to be sure there wasn't a unique brand similar to what I was creating it seemed appropriate. Yet, time and time again, it left me wondering (particularly when I began having problems related to me writing--with the internet getting shut off on me, etc. ) if it was wise to have created a brand that was so closely related to this other brand.
Truth is, when I first thought of creating a secondary brand, knowing there were elements I hoped to include the first name that came to mind was similar to another writer you may know, Hemmingway. Due to connecting my writing to songs--this idea of sewing and humming along fit with what I know resonates with me. Though I've never been one to be great at sewing with needle and thread, I've constantly been one to connect the dots between like items. This figurative language has always struck a chord in me. So, the original brand was Kat Hemminglove. Over time, I played with this, creating images much like the one shown here today; however, I just wasn't convinced this was something I was meant to do--yet.
Prior to completing the Halloween project, the last Saturday of October of 2024 -- when in prayer, I felt this nudge to go back and make another change to the brand. Keep in mind this was a week before I decided to create this new game. Try again -- make this not only more original -- and connected to what you tend to do -- make sure that all the work you've done so far ties together with this new brand.
So does this mean, I won't be writing under the Kasper-Kat (w)Holy Ghostwriter name anymore? No, it appears that there is a reason for the new brand that goes with the original brand--to be a statement; much like the new game that goes with the new brand--that happens to tie in to the most recent Halloween project also!
Now, I don't claim to be God; though my name (Kat) may sound like God--depending on how you say it. I only claim to love God and believe I am called according to God's good purposes, and that's where the game comes into play.

The name I gave this game from the start is "Rings and Strings For Change" or you could say "Kaisparitu: Rings and Strings For Change (The Game and a Fashion Statement)." The name was decided AFTER I read through the dictionary definitions of a "game."
This game idea is a game that is linked with the concept of prayer. Knowing that "game" is also "prey," I quickly jotted a note to myself that the game should be linked with prayer, first and foremost. Because games were created as an occupation that redirects your attention to something positive yet may have stakes involved as a way of increasing one's skillfulness in the game, I began to see how everything I had been doing seemingly fit together.
You may notice the arrows in the new brand picture. This idea was actually one that was used some time ago, when I first created pictures of the Kat Hemminglove logo I originally planned. The "e" was meant to extend outward to the hemmed in circle that surrounded the name--more than a year ago when I first started working on this idea. What's more, much like my writing has consistently -- going back to my teens-- seemed to connect with this idea of two-- idea being linked and/or compared to one another, the arrow extended from each side towards the circle.
Having attended taize services, and hearing a songs and chants sung, using the latin term "spiritus"-- (and often sounds like "spiritu," I hadn't decided how important this "two" idea was to keep, for there was one other term I wanted to connect to this new name I created-- that kept the love--and hem idea intact--only with a silent "h." (h)Aimenlove.
Hopefully these notes helps you to begin to see some of the different inferences one is meant to gather from this new brand-name. For those who aren't aware, when you end a prayer with the word "Amen" this is said to mean "so be it" also--you could even say "sew bead deed."
You may begin to see how the game works. Though most companies have charms, with terms such as "Love," "hope," "Faith," and so forth. This game calls them "character pieces" that you add to the strings (or chains) that you create to encourage good change within you.
Because there is more work that needs to be done on the "rules of the game," the whole set of rules won't be noted here today. Instead, much like my other writing, the rules will be posted in updates, a little at a time.
A few very important rules to note; however, is this:
