Kairos Power and Google Partner to Deploy Advanced Nuclear Power Projects for Clean Energy Goals

Kairos Power and Google signed a Master Plant Development Agreement, enabling the deployment of a US fleet of advanced nuclear power projects totaling 500 megawatts by 2035.?

As per the agreement, Kairos Power would develop, build, and run several cutting-edge nuclear facilities.??

Under the power purchase agreements (PPAs), Kairos Power will also sell Google energy, ancillary services, and environmental benefits.?

These plants will be in relevant service territories and will be deployed by 2030, providing clean electricity to Google data centers.?

It will support Google’s 24/7 carbon-free energy and net zero goals.??

This collaboration will facilitate technology development as Kairos Power advances its commercial deployments and gains Google’s support for its creative strategy.?

Each facility will enable continuous learning and optimisation to facilitate quicker commercialisation, building on advancements from its prior iterations.?

Mike Laufer, the and the CEO and Co-founder of Kairos power said, “Our partnership with Google will enable Kairos Power to quickly advance down the learning curve as we drive toward cost and schedule certainty for our commercial product.”?
