KaiPod Learning: Two Week Update
KaiPod Learning
We make education personal. ?? We empower educators to start microschools and help parents find schools their kids love.
KaiPod Learning Supporters -- We are so excited to share this update with you. Our pilot has been in operation for two weeks and we have two more weeks to go!
TL;DR
KaiPod Learning is LIVE and serving students! We welcomed 8 students to our site in Newton, MA, and have been refining our hyper-personalized approach with the students. As pilot operations stabilize, the central team is shifting gears to plan for our company's launch this coming school year.
What We Do
We help parents take back control over their children's learning by giving them choice over every aspect of their education. KaiPod uses high-quality online curriculum and in-person instructors so children can get ahead and develop a love of learning.
Asks of YOU:
Please talk about us to your friends, families, neighbors, and colleagues. As we get closer to the start of school, families across Massachusetts are on the hunt for an accelerated and personalized learning experience. That's what KaiPod Learning is all about. If you know anyone like this, please connect us!
Highlights:
Academically, detailed student performance data has allowed us to remedy knowledge gaps as soon as they appear. Students aren't just glazing over content they don't understand. They get immediate feedback from their online teachers and our Coaches analyze the reports every morning in order to plan how to support each child that day.
Our ability to serve kids on an emotional level is even better than we imagined. We don't have the constraints of large school buildings, so we can meet each kid where they are at that moment. One parent remarked that their son has never once come home happy after school, yet somehow we have found a way to have him enjoy learning and rave about every single day. Kids lose track of time while they're at KaiPod and we noticed one even asked his Dad if he could stay a little longer!
Students are making friends, exchanging Insta accounts (!), learning to collaborate, and building the critical skills we know they will need in life. Small group environments have been shown to lower social anxiety and incidents of bullying. Last week, one of our students thanked us for helping him make his first new friend in more than 15 months!
Thank you for all your support and advice. Please keep it coming! And, once again, please talk about us to your network and introduce us to potential parents.
We'll leave you with some words of wisdom from one of our students.
