KaCyber in partnership with Microsoft

UGANDA – March 2022 – KaCyber Technologies of Kampala, Uganda is thrilled to partner with Microsoft to scale its digital solution across Africa.

Through the FAST Startup Accelerator, an initiative of Flapmax in partnership with Microsoft, KaCyber joins the 12 selected tech companies building sustainable businesses for global scale. The Programme is designed to strengthen and scale Africa’s digital ecosystem through combining business development, technology integration, funding and community building opportunities designed to enable African startups to scale more rapidly and sustainably.

KaCyber is in the space of holistic logistics and transportation using its digital ticketing innovation and other advanced technologies to invigorate growth and equity for all stakeholders. KaCyber currently operates in Uganda and Senegal, making giant strides in both markets.

Startup in the 1st Cohort for FAST Accelerator

Over 800 applications from 25 countries in Africa were received for the first FAST accelerator cohort and the following were the 12 selected companies;

  1. Uganda’s KaCyber - tech startup seeking to make seamless mobility a reality in Africa
  2. Kenya’s SILQU – Advanced prop tech platform in real estate and technology.
  3. Kenya’s Snark Health – Partner with your doctor. Leverage your data. Pay less.
  4. Kenya’s K-12 EdTech – Kindergarten to 12th-grade education app
  5. Kenya’s Taimba – East Africa’s first Data-driven food supply chain platform
  6. Nigeria’s Caspa Technology – Online platform to buy and sell invoices for businesses in Africa
  7. Nigeria’s LegitCar – Building Africa’s biggest vehicle data service
  8. Nigeria’s Pade HCM – Automated HR for all African businesses
  9. Nigeria’s DayDone – eCommerce platform digitizing the agriculture market
  10. Tanzania’s Tumaini La Maisha – Pediatric Oncology services
  11. Ghana’s Wala Digital Health – Platform for hospitals to access blood and save lives
  12. Egypt’s VAIS – Comprehensive precision agriculture platform powered by AI

The ongoing FAST Accelerator cohort will engage in a broad range of activities, including training, business development, cloud and AI integration, fundraising and community-building events designed to help the startups to scale rapidly and sustainably.?

Microsoft engineering team members will work one-on-one with participants on co-innovation projects ranging from product integrations to new offerings. With the help of the Flapmax engineering team, the startup founders will access new technology tools and services.
