Kabale Municipality Authorities Launch Road Safety Campaign.
In a remarkable display of community spirit and commitment to road safety, authorities in Kabale Municipality, in partnership with Total Fans Club, have launched a road safety initiative as part of the club’s third-anniversary celebrations. The initiative, aligned with the club’s corporate social responsibility efforts, will involve painting five zebra crossings in Kabale town to enhance pedestrian safety.

The celebrations began with a vibrant procession through the streets of Kabale, led by a brass band. Members of the Total Fans Club, dressed in branded attire, joined the march, symbolizing unity and a shared purpose.
The highlight of the day was the launch of the zebra crossing painting drive, a project aimed at improving pedestrian safety and promoting safer road traffic within the town. Speaking during the event, the Chairperson of the Total Fans Club, Reuben Gumisiriza, along with members Norman Muhwezi and Winston Rutehenda, reiterated the club’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in Kabale.
"This initiative is about more than just painting zebra crossings; it’s about creating a safer, more livable community for all," said Gumisiriza.

According to the Kabale Traffic Police, the municipality registers 3-4 cases of hit-and-run accidents every week. The Total Fans Club’s road safety initiative is expected to address these concerns by improving pedestrian safety and raising awareness about road traffic regulations.
