When filmmaker and actor Justin Chon (Gook) found himself in the position to have both Ante Cheng (Ms. Purple) and Matthew Chuang (The Mandela Effect) shoot Blue Bayou, he decided to take advantage of the opportunity.

Ante became available again and I was like, 'Do you guys mind if I have best of both worlds?' It was a true partnership among the three of us. Also, there was second unit so if we needed to get something shot, one of them could go and get it, and we'd know that it is going to be good.
