It is noted, the invitation to send comments has been extended for the stated purpose of ‘lci’ going into “...all relevant aspects relating to regulation of legal profession in consultation with all concerned...”
KEY NOTE:
In the Judgment, the court has been addressed on “...the larger question whether on conviction under the Contempt of Courts Act (https://indiankanoon.org/doc/1396751/) or any other offence involving moral turpitude an advocate could be permitted to practise...”
On the flip side, however, the point that ought to be of the most common concern is that the matter, despite irrefutably having been one entailing the utmost concern for public interest, which came to be initiated far way back in 2006, happens to have been more or less settled after nearly a decade.
In relation to that aspect causing the root cause for the delay in securing justice, the observations of the court in paragraphs 16,...24 , 25, 26 of the Judgment call for/ require a pointed attention and incisive consideration. May be, those provide the clue for/ are indicative of the areas on which input comments furnished could serve a useful purpose.
Is it not for besides the eminent jurists, the legal fraternity itself, selves, to squarely apply minds, co-ordinate , devoutly explore and find out a feasibly effective solution to the indicated twin, nay dovetailing, malice of ‘procrastination’* and resulting ’delays’ ; and do so, better now , though late, than never ?!
* ‘Procrastination’?! – Is that really such a difficult concept potent with insurmountable problems, to successfully overcome / effectively tackle ?- doesn’t seem so !

Often said that, inevitably, public memory is short/ short -lived. Be that as it may, such a saying or belief cannot hold good or can have any leg to stand on in respect of Government (s)/ its machinery.
To sum up: Procrastination’ is the name of the gruesome but widely favoured game!
