Just witnessed the future of #Low-code

Microsoft's recent announcements about leveraging GPT-4 in their Power Platform have left me truly impressed, and it got me thinking:

Can we achieve a similar result with our Module Suite in the context of OpenText Extended ECM ?

To test this, I spent the morning introducing ChatGPT (GPT-4) to the Module Suite API for creating applications, including workflows, forms, and scripts (I've saved the prompts if you're curious!).

Then, I challenged ChatGPT to generate a fully configured application based on the following prompt:

"Can we create a workflow to approve employee expenses related to their participation in marketing events? We want the employee to start an approval workflow by attaching all receipts and the total amount spent. His or her manager can fully or partially approve the reimbursement or ask the employee to provide additional justification. Eventually the request must be approved in full or in part (we need to keep track of how much was approved). We want to notify all worklow participants of the arrival of a request using email messages. At the end of the workflow a REST API available on our ERP must be invoked to authorize the reimbursement"

The outcome was astonishing!

Although ChatGPT's initial response wasn't perfect, it took just a couple of iterations for it to generate a perfectly working script.

This remarkable achievement confirms that, through Module Suite and the use of LLM, we are on the verge of offering our clients an unprecedented application creation experience.

Given the incredible results achieved with ChatGPT (GPT-4) and its potential to revolutionize the way we create applications, we have decided to prioritize the integration of this technology in the upcoming releases of Module Suite.

We believe that this cutting-edge innovation will greatly benefit not only our existing customers but also attract potential new clients, who will undoubtedly be as thrilled as we are with the enhanced application creation experience.
