If you truly want to be continually successful and in a constant state of growth, all you need to recognize is W.I.N. (What’s Important Now?)
In the book Winning Every Day by Lou Holtz, Coach Holtz writes about how he used to remind his players at Notre Dame to ask themselves this important question throughout the day; when they awakened in the morning, in class or study hall, the weight room, the practice field, on the sidelines during a game (regardless of their role on the team), when they were on the field during a game when they were at a party outside school hours and when they were approached by some alumni or agent who was offering them a financial incentive that may jeopardize their collegiate careers.
This practice is not an easy habit to pick up but I believe a worthwhile one to pursue. Envision how much you could accomplish in a day, month and a year with this level of focus on the present. If you want to see how far you can go in life, just focus on W.I.N.
