A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to attend to a leadership training for executives in Kuala Lumpur. We covered various concepts, among which, the importance of creating psychologically safe environments to enable meaningful conversations with the aim to drive divergent thinking, innovation, and growth, stood out.
For me, it was kind of life changing as I found a world that I am decided to continue exploring.
Over the next few months, I will be sharing my own reflections and views on various general leadership topics, exposing some of the challenges that leaders face in various environments, and with a special emphasis to sales organizations.
In addition, as part of my own reflections, I will also be sharing what I call - Leadership Axioms.
I will not be alone on this journey. Twelve additional leaders will join me. They will open-up, share their vision on specific topics, and altogether give answer to questions, like the below set.
What is the relationship and impact for a leader of the binomen - change & time? What does leadership really mean? What are the characteristics of a leader? How does uncertainty impact motivation? Shall we control uncertainty? How does the lack of time prevent us from leading successfully?
I consider myself an explorationist, and I invite you to join me in the adventure of discovering a pathway to grow and reach personal and professional fulfillment.
In the next post, I will write about the importance of time, and I will share the Leadership Axiom 1.
Stay tuned. Do not hesitate in reaching out whenever needed.

1 年Dear David, I will follow your posts. I am very happy that you are learning new things in your current position. One of my axioms is "Be humble, ask the people honestly how you as a leader can support them, don't ask to improve their work if you are not able to understand why they cannot perform as you expect"
