Just For Sport

Right now in Denver, there's electricity in the air. You can feel it as you stroll through downtown. On a lunch break, you see strangers in matching jerseys giving each other a spirited high five, showcasing a not-so-secret camaraderie. Because for the first time, both the Colorado Avalanche and the Denver Nuggets are in the 2nd round of their respective playoffs at the same time. The city has sports fever.  

Sports teams have the ability to make a city come alive, and act as an energy hub for the community. That's why, at Punch Bowl Social, we strategically opened a handful of locations within newly-built sports hubs -- in Sacramento (Kings), Atlanta (Braves), Milwaukee (Bucks) and soon, in Washington, DC (Nationals). 

When too many things are dividing us in our country, sports provide an opportunity for people to connect. Echoing our goal to bring people together at Punch Bowl Social, sports creates the same togetherness -- uniting total strangers through shared interests and enthusiasm. 

As we continue down the road to the finals, I’ll join my fellow Coloradans in cheering loudly and enthusiastically for my hometown teams. Win or lose, it’s something we can all get behind.
