The momentum built in 2022 demonstrates the catalytic role that projects like AICCRA can play in strengthening agricultural research in Africa.?

Highlights

• AICCRA has reached nearly three million farmers in Africa with the tools, technologies, and practices that promote climate smart agriculture, and helped our national, regional and international partners transform climate services.
• 76 partner organizations have increasingly accessed enhanced climate information services and validated climate-smart agriculture technologies.
• AICCRA reached nearly 6,000 beneficiaries through capacity development activities like training, learning workshops, study tours and technical assistance.
• 25 additional countries now access enhanced climate-smart agriculture and climate services thanks to AICCRA's regional engagement beyond the project's six focus countries.

These activities show how with the support of 世界银行 International Development Association, AICCRA is strengthening bonds between CGIAR research centers and the ambitions of Africa’s institutions.

The report also contains many outcomes stories from these activities which show how—together with our partners—we’re scaling the science and innovation needed for a climate-resilient future for African agriculture.?
