JUST "ONE"

Recall a time when you were in a vehicle heading for an event and you were stuck in traffic (stand still or go-slow) wondering the cause. Suddenly, you arrive at a spot and you realize it was just one car (one car parked wrongly, one car that broke down at a weird spot, one driver refusing to follow traffic rules; one car or one driver).

You will probably, complain, murmur, or sigh as you leave the scene. This is exactly how I have felt in the past weeks. With the recent increase in the price of PMS over the past weeks, I keep asking myself,

how does one sector have so much control, impact, influence over a nation, and its economy?

I know some of the answers, but I am constantly amazed by the thought of the question. What do you think of this dilemma? Kindly let me know in the comment section.

While pondering on this question, I was reminded of the significance of a small but mighty "one". For anyone who has heard me talk about my NYSC experience, you already know my catchphrase,

One year changed my life and will change your life if you allow it.

In my recent musings, I have been reminded of the significance of "one". My catchphrase and quote is not just relevant to NYSC it proves true even for life.

One year of the recent administration in office and changes are clear (did your life change or did your life change?) If you ever felt one was small or insignificant, think again.

New years and birthdays mark the beginnings of great things but may not always be taken as significant throughout the entire cycle.

Regardless of how the year has been,

how much you have achieved or lost,

how on track or far behind you have fallen on your goals.

One is still significant and the remaining days of 2024 can be a part of the one year that changes your life when you see the significance of "one" and start to act.

One year changed my life and will change your life if you allow it!
One year can change your life! 
Act now and act differently!
