I had a lovely day out in London last week and the autumn sunshine was glorious ??
When you have a day out, what's the first thing you think about? I bet that “what am I going to wear” and “what's the weather going to be like” are 2 of your top thoughts?
They certainly are mine!?
Personally, I get very excited, as it's often a chance to try something new, or a different combination.
You probably know that I am NOT a slave to fashion and I do like to get the maximum amount of use from everything in my wardrobe.
But…
I do like to keep things fresh and as I'm sure you do too, I like to look current (ish)??
For several months I have been on the lookout for a some light denim jeans. I do love the current trend for wide leg trousers, but some of the jeans I've looked at just didn't hang right.
?Then I found these from Next! Wide leg, mid rise (so many wide leg jeans are high waisted), which don't work on me, too heavy, or just plain uncomfortable.?
As soon as I tried these on, I knew that I would be wearing them again and again, in multiple different ways,?

To name just a few.?
Yesterday, I teamed them with a 7 year old linen blend fine knit jumper, from Mint Velvet and my M&S white trainers from 3 years ago.?
Wide leg jeans may not be your thing, but maybe you have your eye on another trend item? If you are tempted, just take some time to consider the When, Where, How rule
Sometimes, just adding one new item to your wardrobe can make a huge and versatile difference.?As long as it's the right item!?
Quick caveat - if you do go for a wide leg like this, do keep the top half neat and body skimming. Anything oversized could potentially swamp you. ??
