Just One Good Photo
A colleague recently asked my opinion regarding what they see as a plethora of photos on social media that seem somewhat transactional as fuel for all of us to take a fresh look at high-quality photography as a medium once again. Their theory? An overabundance of basic images flooding our senses is making us long for just one good photo that draws us in and does not let go. While I do not know of any conclusive research supporting this sentiment, I am happy to share a new branding campaign by OTTO for INTERNATIONAL PAPER-HAMMERMILL featuring fine art photography by David Katzenstein.
Professional photography opens our perspective to the beauty of the world we share. The artistry and sensitivity behind the lens informs the subject it shines a light upon by simultaneously revealing inner strength and vulnerability. From the beginning, the medium has provided a platform for exploring the world in an honest and candid way, one that creates intimacy and understanding. The power of unspoken messaging allows everyone to share our Human Experience.
