Just a little fun with Techies

A very entertaining video by a techie. She proudly declares herself a techie after 4 years of engineering but not once does she mention computers or IT or even programming. You just assumed that she must be a person working in one of the grand IT companies who pay huge salaries, have well stocked cafetrias, and is teeming with young people moving around with high end laptops.
Can A textile engineer working on increasing the tear strength of fabric call himself a techie ? Can a civil engineer evaluating the strength of RCC structure of a 40 year old building a techie ? No, because that term stands hijacked.
Some years ago, an entrepreneur, the owner of a start-up asked me if I was interested in technology. I had no idea what was he trying to say. He knew I had a 4 year degree in engineering. So why was he asking ! It took me some time to realise he meant to ask, if I had any interest in developing computer based applications. I sulked. After several years now I see this video and realise that though they mostly work with computer coding languages they are not Codies but Techies. What's done is done. Who am I to undo stuff but before rest of the cool smart ways to define a professional is hijacked by Techies, let me submit my list:
Artie - those who work with graphic arts like magazine cover designers or textile print creators.
Brandie - those who work on brand visibility, even that of IT firms
Chatie - those who work as telecallers/telesellers or tele marketers

.... You can contribute for D, E, F..... right upto Z but because I am not a techie, I will go about it in a more random manner:
Markie - those who work in marketing
Newsie - those who work for news publishers and
Salesie - Thats does not draw the same sentiment as Selu does. Selu types are a special people and often much appreciated by their Selu type bosses. They are also all pervading - from selling dreams and spaces to cars and games.
O, how could I forget the HR person. Shall we call him/her a Hirie or Firie ? Well that depends on the avatar he/she has assumed.
Then we can have a Taxie - your tax consultant but naming the people who rate the credit risk or risk of financial default could be Riskie.
and like a true non-techie, I will leave with the last line incorrect and without a return value.
