Just by letting go some issues are resolved

By understanding a simple fact that sometimes you don't get closure. Sometimes you don't get the answers to all your questions. It is not necessary that if you want to resolve some conflict or get a closure, the other person in the relationship or friendship wants to give you the same. This is but normal. And this happens. This might frustrate you to the core and suck the brain out of you, but you need to understand that sometimes, for some things, there's nothing you can do.

Once you understand this fact that you can't help it, you'll be able to let it go. Try your best to resolve it, don't give up, ask questions, give answers. Find out! But when even after trying your best, you don't get a closure.. Move on, buddy. You can't help it. Help yourself. Get out of it. It might take some room in your mind and heart, and you'll keep thinking about it but slowly and slowly, you will realise that acceptance is the only way. You'll have to let it go. Sometimes you don't have a choice.

I was in a 7 year long relationship through thick and thins. 7 months back it was the thinnest time and we broke up. Both of us wanted to let each other go but we remained good friends. In the past 7 months, every time we talked about the past and said things to each other, I thought of letting her go but something held me back. The other day I called her,

Me : Hey, how are you? What's up? She : I will call you when I reach back my hostel. After reaching her hostel, she called me back. She : Sorry, I was with a friend of mine. Me : Are you dating?She : I don't know. Maybe. I like hanging out with him.Me : Are you happy?She : Yes. I am happy when he is around. I will talk to you later.She just hung up. May be I called her 50 odd times, and every time there was a recorded message which said in the monotonous boring voice, " The number you are trying to reach is busy on another call, either wait for call again later" Late night I received a message, I don't feel like talking to anyone else when he is on call. This means that she had already blocked my number.

I realized, this is the best time to let her go. She was happy with someone else. Being around her will just hold her back. She wants to move on. Then I too blocked her from all the social media. I possess no hatred for her. I possess no love for her. It is mere apathy that I possess for her. The best time to let someone go is when the next person is no more broken and ready to move on. Maybe, for the sake of humanity.

One of my friend told me this story to inspire me how to move on. There lived a man, he wanted to climb the highest mountain in the world. After many years of preparation he decided to give it a go. Because he wanted to achieve glory alone, he started climbing the mountain alone. It was cold, the night arrived, it was dark, zero visibility but he still wanted to climb. Instead of taking a halt, he kept climbing. Suddenly, his foot slipped and he lost his control. It was a free fall, he felt the pull of gravity. In those moments of great fear, it reminded of all the good and bad things he did in his life.

He was now thinking of how close was his death, all of a sudden he felt a hard pull by a rope tied to his waist. His body was now hanging, with only a support of rope, He cried and screamed, “Help me God. ”.A voice came from cloud, “What do you want me to do?”The man cried, “Save me God!” The voice came, “Will you do as I say?”The man cried, “Yes anything, Please save me.” The voice came, “Cut the rope tied on your waist.”The man did not cut the rope and held it by all his strength.Next morning when the rescue team arrived, it said that the climber was dead and frozen, he was holding on his rope which was frozen,Only six feet above ground!So, how attached are you with your rope? Will you let go? To let come new and better things, let go of the old. Cheers!
