?Every entrepreneur needs to be optimistic with sufficient confidence to move forward. However, too many entrepreneurs get it in their head that fundraising is simple and that they can figure it out on their own. This is true, but like every other learning experience, it typically takes a number of false starts, failures and a substantial investment of time and money to gain mastery over any skill – including fundraising.?
FUNDING POINT – JUST-IN-TIME KNOWLEDGE WITH AI AVATARS
?I am continuing my collaboration with Knowledge Avatars to share my knowledge on fundraising.
I currently have in place a dedicated, custom AI avatar on the topic of fundraising located on my website at https://dakincapital.com/CAP.
I have just upgraded my collaboration with Knowledge Avatars by agreement to create a new custom AI avatar that will be bundled with my forthcoming book, Dakin’s Edge: Charity Fundraising Kit. I intend to bundle AI avatars with future books and educational programs.
My goal is to provide my followers, viewers, clients, readers, and attendees with a shortcut to the greater volume of knowledge within my Instant Funding newsletters, Successful Funding shows and specific educational programs.
I, myself, rarely have the time to read any book cover to cover. I manage to read a few newsletters, social media posts and other communications, but admit that I skim these materials looking for something that is important to me today, right now. I occasionally will copy and save something for later reading which is put in a folder that hopefully I can find when I need it.
To address this challenge for me and everyone I know, I will increasingly use an AI avatar to be the gatekeeper for this information. The benefit to anyone who receives any of my knowledge sharing is that they will not have to read/scan/search for an answer to their questions. They may simply ask the appropriate AI avatar that I have established and get an immediate answer. This is similar to an Internet browser search except that this is my information.
Recent technological advances by Knowledge Avatar have created the potential for what I call just-in-time education. I can very quickly transfer information (called training) into an AI avatar and make it capable of answering questions in exactly the same way that I would answer them. One question. One answer. As a coach, advisor, mentor, and consultant, this enables me to be responsive at any hour of any day. The AI avatar is always on duty and can take and answer questions from multiple people at the same time. In effect, I have digitally cloned myself. This frees me up to do those things that only I can do and to continue to build on my existing knowledge so that I have more to share.
The AI avatar with just-in-time knowledge can perform a variety of services on my behalf:

·??????? Digital salesperson – answer questions about services, fees, and events

·??????? Digital manual – answer questions about product and service features, installation, operation, fixes and repairs, warranty, and availability of human technical assistance
?Beyond providing immediate access to what I know, I am exploring the possibility of creating an AI avatar for any new product or software that I acquire. Instead of me puzzling through FAQs, online ?manuals, YouTube videos or the latest how-to book, I may simply load that information into the avatar and ask it questions as needed, when needed.
?Going one step further, I can establish a dedicated webinar for each of my client’s projects. In addition to answering questions, it can be the librarian for each communication, document, image, or other information where it can remember dates, times, and places I cannot.
?As I continue to envision all of the ways that AI avatars can be of use to me, I may decide to add an AI avatar as a guest on my live-streaming shows, as an advisor on my board or simply as my muse in exploring other uses of AI avatars.

SUCCESSFUL FUNDING
?NEXT TUESDAY, the guest on my Successful Funding show will be @Lucas Marquardt with Precision Financials. Lucas provides services as a part-time CFO for a variety of businesses. We will be discussing the problem of entrepreneurs who get set in their thinking on raising funding that is pointing them to the wrong strategy. We will explore how advisors may overcome wrongheaded thinking.

THIS MORNING, @RCI Community Funds presented the Community Revitalization show on LinkedIn Live, YouTube and Facebook. Our featured guest was Jim Kucher . Jim is an associate professor at the University of Baltimore, Maryland. The topic of our conversation was sustainability. We discussed sustainability and social metrics applied to rebuilding communities. Jim provided examples within his book on Social Entrepreneurship.
