Just hustle and get things done

When I hustle, I get things done. It`s just that simple. Without it, anything is half-assed and low-quality. There are three reasons why I would rather hustle and get moving, rather than waiting for things to magically fall in my lap: I am going to die one day. I don`t know when and I don`t know where. But, the grim reaper is coming for me, that I know. Having no clue when my day to shuffle off this mortal coil will come around, fills me with the urge to take action, now.
This urgency has led me to accomplish many things in my relatively short life (I am 63 at the time of posting this article). I have travelled the world, become an entrepreneur, been in the international companies and had good relationships with women of many nationalities and classes, these are just a few examples of giving me an opportunity to mingle as a single. None of these would have been possible without the drive and determination to get moving as quickly as possible and see the task through to the end, no matter what.
Remembering that I am going to die and that today is not a promise has given me the impetus to go out there and conquer whatever it is I want to do, regardless of circumstance, situation, or money. I can`t stand being mediocre. If there is one thing that I hate above all things, it is being average. I am allergic to being average. Average just sucks. Imagine if you were given the choice of the iPhone, or a cheap average imitation. Which would you choose? Of course, you would choose the iPhone. Why? It is the best (arguably) and above average in technology, design, and usability.
Why would you settle for an average life, either? You should want to live every day the way you want to. To suck the marrow out of life and live your life with purpose. If you don`t, then you get what the average person gets: an average life. Is that what you want too?? I didn`t think so. Knowing that the world is filled with average people living average lives fills me with the desire to get the ball moving and take massive action to live a life that is far different to the average person.
If you want to be better than the average human too, it`s time to get your hustle on! I want to be better than yesterday. The key to being successful with hustling is incremental improvements. I strive to be better, even a small percentage point, than the person I was yesterday. I want to learn, experience, do, create, and inspire more and more every day and build on the skills and talents that I have acquired. Working daily on myself and showing up consistently leads to progress. Progress leads to outstanding results. Getting results gives me the motivation to continue working on my dreams, goals, and skills.

That motivation drives my hustle and allows me to keep moving the needle forward in my life. I write this just for myself, which gives some more in-depth perspectives on the reasons why you should get hustling right now. Please check it out and let me know what you think. Every choice you face, every decision you make has its good points and bad points. Consider them carefully, and then make the decision. A less than perfect answer is infinitely better than doing nothing. Everything you attempt has some risks and some challenges. For anything you undertake, there are plenty of reasons not to do it. Weigh the risks against the benefits, and then make the commitment to take action. Decide what you want to do, with your eyes fully open, and then do it without looking back.
There are many directions from which you can choose. Yet you must choose. Your options are meaningful only when you exercise some of them and reject the rest. Trying to do everything is as fruitless as trying to do nothing. Define yourself. Choose your path and start walking. Decide what you want to do, and get it done. I side-hustle to peak my own interests. I want to see what sparks my creativity and what kind of connections I can make with others. Side Hustles often have low start up costs and tend to use skills that people already have or want to sharpen.
Desire or a strong reason why? In life, we always move towards what we want. Whether those are big, worthy, life-changing goals or little pleasures (addictions) at the moment. So to set a worthy goal that you really, really would want to attain will give you a motivation to hustle. The key is to make it big enough so you get excited towards achieving it but not so big so you don't believe that you can’t achieve. It needs to be in “sweet spot.” So desire is one thing that can push you to hustle. The second thing is the reason - your why. Why do you need to hustle? What is the reason for your hustle? Let's say I have a girlfriend, and we both are madly in love and can't live without each other.
And let's say, for no reason, she gets really sick. (She gets some kind of rare disease.) And the only way for her to live is to do the operation, but that operation cost a shit load of money. Now because I madly love here and would do anything for her, I'll hustle my arse off so I can make the necessary money for her operation. Basically what makes you hustle is either something that can pull you - a strong desire. Or something that can push you - a big reason. The key is to make it real and on emotional level.
People are not lazy because it’s rational and logical not to put any effort and save energy. People are lazy because they don't feel like doing something. Be the master of your body and take power and control over the way you feel. Use your mind and emotions to get excited and energize to hustle and get what you want. This is what makes me hustle. I take power and control over my mind and body and direct all my efforts into a worthy goal that has a big reason for its achievement. It's all Inner game. Cheers!
