Just being as true as possible.

The journey in this body of over 10,000 steps, is nothing to scoff at, this I do attest. Making time to find time, in a time where there is so little of it when times are so suppressed with the needs of others with my limited resource growing up and now trying to make all work in a cents.

My Mother like so many others at that time and now again realizing how far behind the curve we can be about our academic studies or where we thought we would be at this point in time. Only to find its just about calming down and making a clean slate by filtering out the chaos in our lives, and making it more conducive and inclusive to the plan on being civilized with the times as much as possible.

There is not always a trophy or a crowd of people to interview you or cheer you on. Some may even pretend in the crowd that they are on the same side. Either way you are the one responsible for showing up to class. Like me as that non traditional student, riding my bike making timelines of when the bus would stop to pick me and the kids up so they didn't have to huff it that far with me in the middle of winter. Hoping they could catch some breakfast with class mates, creating a sense of normality in a town I knew we might not fit in, lucky they helped us feel like we did. Thank you, I love you always.

Or cross trekking across bridges to make it across state line for class at a university/technical college that made space on the roster for an old crow like me. To learn along side younger gens of gems who would surpass me, not because of youth alone but they had less pain to push past since their life just started. Or maybe they didn't since their recent discharge or step up to plate to play and we both just needed on another to motive each other.

Either way, I will never discard the idea of how all things can get distorted when trying to make understanding of the mess we make when I get to focused on the big picture and forget the corners of life that make up the story. So heres to being tidy, fun and just human sometimes messy.

So as I continue to deal with cares of not myself only but the cares that are part of my story. hope to stay aware and kind that we are all in this together.
