Stephon Bubb, Brakes Plus mechanic, brought out his ?” Milwaukee impact wrench which he uses all day long to loosen and tighten bolts on various vehicles.
I asked him if he needed to change the retainer clip and o-ring. He said, “Yes” while handing me his tool.
I said, “No” indicating I wanted him to do the task.?
“Okay,” he shrugged as if I was going to make him work. I wanted him to experience the ease and efficiency of the impact wrench pliers and Clipkey? for himself, with no expectations. I handed him the pliers and showed him how to hold them with his dominant hand, palm over the top of the handles.
I instructed, “Keep the tips closed and find the opening of the snap ring already on the anvil of the impact wrench. Now, push the tips into the o-ring underneath. Once the tips are in place, squeeze the handles together to open up the steel ring and gently lift it over the anvil.

“That worked fantastic!” Bubb exclaimed.
I handed him the sharp pointed o-ring remover hook and told him to place it on top of the o-ring and pull it forward to grab the ring and slip it off the anvil. Bubb pulled a new o-ring out of the red plastic case and using his fingers stretched it over the anvil. [For those who have larger fingers the tips of the pliers can be used to pick up the ring and stretch it over the anvil.]
He placed the snap ring into the Clipkey?, positioned the impact wrench at a 45 degree angle, then quickly heard the “click-click” as the Just Clip clip snapped into place. I announced, “Just Clips the tools that keep you working.”
With a big grin on his face he went out to the garage, back to work.
