Not Just another adventure...

Not just another adventure, working at Ador has been a whirlwind of experiences, opportunities galore, emotions, projects and celebrations!?

I was just out of college, and recognizing the challenges ahead in an absolutely new territory I was about to land gave me jitters. But from the day I set foot in Ador, all my days have been colored in Red – welcoming and warm, phenomenally supportive, and inspiring to the hilt. Not only did I get an opportunity to report directly to the executive director himself, but I also got to lead and participate in an overwhelmingly wide range of projects and activities.

To start with, I was entitled the responsibility of handling the entire production of Control Panels. Here, I was able to work on process improvements and an environment of automated battery operated tools to reduce time and effort.?It happened when I just initiated my journey. Turns out, the pastures ahead were going to get only greener. One year into my role, and I was trusted with the installation of India’s first Safety Roller Barrier at the East Coast Road, Chennai. This gave me immense learning and a first-hand experience in handling the Government entities, local labors, time constraints, shortage of resources and never-before-seen technical challenges. Surpassing everything, my seniors motivated and pushed me to accomplish something which stands testament to the fact that Ador inspires creativity and innovation in young talent.

My ride thereon was only more flexible, diverse, and fulfilling. I experienced freedom in all that I did; learning at every step, and an air of complete trust in my decision making capability which I think I wouldn’t have experienced anywhere else. Talking of diversity, not only did I work in my core area of operation, but I also handled cost-centric projects where I was responsible for installation of LED lights. I was able to achieve a 50% saving in energy consumption, which fed me more on budgeting, negotiation skills, and lights. All of these tasks paved way for me to be confident than ever to battle everything that came my way.

The two years that I’ve spent in Ador provided me with just the right foundation to my career, enriching me with an array of skills required to excel in today’s instant, cut-throat world. Amongst all these varied massive exercises, you can often find me unwinding in the lush landscape of Ador, practicing on my Guitar for the upcoming Christmas gig, or gearing up for the most awaited sports week – huddled up amidst my peers sipping coffee. Be it blood donation camps or Ganesh Visarjan, I am a part of it all! It has taught me topnotch event management skills. I love the pleasantly humble culture here, where all the hierarchies collaborate and have fun together to pomp up every occasion at Ador.

I am currently working in the domain of digital manufacturing, and I’m learning the brand new concepts of Industry 4.0 and Autonomation, and I’m loving it. As I write this from my desk, I realize there’s no day at work where I don’t learn anything new and that’s why I don’t want to be anywhere else.?
