Junk mail or a $99 a Month Trojan Horse?

You have a business:
Yeah, I get it. What DOES that mean? Well, a monthly PCI fee is really paying for the security that Visa/MC uses to patrol and protect the system. Fine. So, it costs $5-9 a month. Fine.
How about $49 a month? $99?
You see, you have to renew this annually basically to tell them your business is fine, and you haven't made any specific changes. The annual check-up consists of 5 questions that are all Yes or No. If you do this, you stay at the low-price range. If you don't do it, you jump to the nosebleed section. Don't worry, they have to email you and remind you.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Sorry, forgive me. They do in fact email you. It's just that... well... some of these emails may (or may not) look like junk mail that you absolutely should just delete. This is definitely NOT done on purpose as far as anything you (or I) know. After all, 1,000 clients at $99 a month is an extra $100k (ok $99k) in the system. Mind you there are groups with millions of clients.
