NASA
NASA invites applications to its FY 2020 EPSCoR Cooperative Agreements program to promote the development of research capabilities in NASA EPSCoR jurisdictions, improve the capabilities of these jurisdictions to gain support from sources outside the NASA EPSCoR program, develop partnerships among NASA research assets, academic institutions, and industry, and to contribute to the overall research infrastructure, science and technology capabilities of higher education. Up to 12 awards with a combined total of up to $9 million may be made. Eligibility is restricted according to the NSF EPSCoR eligibility guidelines. Applications are due March 6, 2020.

- Clinical Trials Development: Accepting R61/R33 applications to support the development of clinical trials to treat critical and co-occurring health conditions in individuals with Down syndrome. The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases invites U01 applications to its Type 1 Diabetes in Acute Pancreatitis Consortium project to undertake a longitudinal observational study of the occurrence of diabetes that occurs during or after an acute pancreatitis episode, with an emphasis on type 1 diabetes. There are two separate funding opportunities associated with this project:
- Clinical Centers (CCs): CCs should include researchers and clinicians with multi-disciplinary expertise. CCs will be expected to share results freely within the consortium and to develop trans-consortium collaborative projects that make use of the combined expertise and technological capabilities present in all of the CCs. Up to 10 awards with a combined total of up to $2.7 million may be made.
