Junior Technical Support Engineer (Hardware Security Module)

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Technical Support Engineer to join our team, providing support for Hardware Security Modules (HSM) in banking and financial environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or young professional with a CCNA certification and a passion for IT security.

You’ll work with leading HSM solutions, such as Thales payShield and Entrust nShield, while gaining hands-on experience in banking security technologies.

System Integrator environment, Central Singapore

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of HSM devices like Thales payShield and Utimaco Atalla.
• Support the integration of HSMs into client networks and banking systems.
• Perform basic key management tasks and secure hardware setup.
• Help resolve technical issues related to HSMs and provide guidance to clients.
• Document troubleshooting steps and create user guides for clients.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance support processes and solutions.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years experience in networking solutions
• CCNA Certification or basic knowledge of networking (e.g., TCP/IP, VPNs).
• Strong interest in IT security and cryptography.
• Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills to work with internal teams and clients.
