June at Zync: Thrills, Spills, and Culinary Skills!

After a fantastic April and an even better May, we were gunning for a massive success in June to meet a stretched target for our team holiday (some of us had already started packing!). But, as anyone in recruitment knows, it can be a rollercoaster. June brought us back to earth, and we just missed our holiday target by a splash.

While it’s easy to celebrate our successes and the fun in recruitment, it’s equally important to acknowledge the tough times and near misses. We were all gutted not to end the quarter as we hoped despite our hard work. But we’re not letting that get us down. We may not have got the end result but the good news is, activity was incredibly high and we had a record number of new clients and amazing candidates partner with us so the industry is looking good ??

We’re heading into Q3 with renewed energy and determination – we will get that holiday this time!

Enough about that. Let’s dive into the exciting things that happened in June!

Welcome Dhillon and Mohamed!

Firstly, we’re thrilled to welcome two new Zync members! Dhillon and Mohamed joined us as Trainee Cyber Client Strategists and have hit the ground running. They’ve brought heaps of energy, positivity, and ambition to our office. If you’re ever having a tough day, give one of them a call – they’re guaranteed to make you smile ??.

Of course, we had our monthly awards ceremony to celebrate the hard work and teamwork shown throughout June:

• Charlie is a regular winner at these ceremonies, and this month was no different! He won the June and Q2 league, earning a 3pm finish and a voucher to spend wherever he fancies. (hopefully more cooking ingredients)
• Emma was voted Player’s Player for her great attitude and being super helpful around the office, a true “grafter” working beyond expectations over the weekend to help people find their dream jobs! She’s only been with us since April but has already made a significant impact with some new clients. Emma won a voucher for a meal at The Ivy ??.
• Aden claimed the title of Q2 Top Biller, overachieving his quarter target ????????.

At Zync, we have a diverse team, but one thing we all share is a deep love for food. We usually bond over trying new restaurants, but this month we did something different. Charlie and Burhan treated us to some incredible homemade food. Burhan made amazing chicken, rice, and salad with homemade bread and dips, while Charlie rivalled Wagamama with his incredible ramen. I’d love to share some photos, but everything was devoured before I had a chance to take one ????♀?.
