Ammonia and refrigeration
Did you know that ammonia is one of the most relevant solutions in refrigeration?
The advantages are several:
However, the use of ammonia requires careful and careful handling. Indeed, as a toxic and flammable gas, specific equipment and materials must be used. Sensitron gas detectors are used for constant monitoring of ammonia installations and are necessary to ensure the safety of workers and the environment.

Periodic maintenance on an ammonia refrigeration system
Gas detectors used in ammonia refrigeration systems are used to monitor the presence of any leaks and ammonia levels in the air. These detectors play a vital role in ensuring the safety of workers and the protection of the environment. Periodic maintenance is essential to ensure the efficiency and proper functioning of gas detectors and?should be carried out every three months.

ATEX Directive
Directive 2014/34/EU sets out the requirements and assessment of equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. It defines health and safety requirements for the design, manufacture and marketing of such equipment to ensure operator safety and explosion prevention. The equipment must comply with the appropriate harmonised standards, be subject to conformity assessment and appropriately marked. The directive also requires that appropriate accompanying documentation be provided, consisting of operating and maintenance instructions, safety instructions and declaration of conformity.
Our industrial and marine lines are designed to work in explosive environments.?
