Community Day - volunteering with Leeds Countryside Rangers
What does giving back to the community look like? Well, last month, our team joined Leeds City Council’s Countryside Rangers for a spot of gardening at a local cemetery in North Leeds as part of our paid volunteer work days at Search Laboratory.
Hanging out in a graveyard might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think about volunteer work. Nevertheless, we all had a brilliant experience and thoroughly enjoyed the community day vibes.

Leeds marathon run raises funds for Leeds Mind
Last month, a number of our team ran in the annual Leeds marathon in the boiling hot weather to raise awareness for our local charity, Leeds Mind.
A massive thank you to Gina Wisse, Zoe Schofield, and Sophie Birks for participating in the Leeds marathon. Together, we raised over £600 for Leeds Mind, which all goes toward raising awareness for mental health in Yorkshire.
Goodbye to Search Laboratory Founder Ian Harris
Ian Harris founded Search Laboratory in 2005, and last month, he sadly stepped back from his duties as Executive Chairman. Ian has truly shaped our culture today, and we will miss him dearly.
So, in true Search Labs fashion, we threw him a little party to celebrate his 19 years of leadership. Best of luck for the future, Ian!
