JUNE NEWS LETTER

JUNE NEWS LETTER

Not long now until we hit the longest day of the year 21st June. After that, the days start getting longer again. Woohoo, it is almost summer again. ;-)

May was a big month for us and June is looking like another one.?

In the last two weeks, we have presented V-Quest demos to 20+ potential users. The common feedback is.... wow this carbon legislation is going to change things and it's awesome you guys are providing a solution that makes it easy.?

EDUCATION

In May June, we extended our use of V-Quest to educators, and architectural and engineering courses.?

We now have Massey University, ARA Institute of Canterbury and Otago Polytech onboarding or already using our software. All three are looking at ways to integrate V-Quest into their course delivery and use within their research activities.?

We firmly believe that the next generation of designers, architects, and engineers are the true changemakers. These young professionals will bring the enthusiasm, drive, and technical skills essential for helping the world achieve our ambitious 2050 net-zero targets. Recognising their pivotal role, we have been diligently working to demo and onboard prominent institutions such as the ARA Institute of Canterbury, Otago Polytechnic, and Massey University.

The feedback from these esteemed institutions has been overwhelmingly positive. Educators and students alike have found that V-Quest is not only teachable but also intuitive and easy to use. Our software stands out by making complex tasks simple, which significantly enhances the learning and teaching experience.

We are thrilled to collaborate with these top-tier educational institutions and are excited about the prospect of emerging professionals becoming proficient in using our software. Their adeptness with V-Quest will undoubtedly prepare them to tackle the challenges of the future with confidence and skill.?

We received the following feedback from ARA:

“V-Quest robust, user-friendly interface supports all stages of architectural development—from Concept and Design Development to Post-occupancy LCA analysis. This tool, featuring NZ Christchurch context data, integrates seamlessly with SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and Revit,?Very user-friendly?making it an excellent resource for our students.

Furthermore, V-Quest aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing state-of-the-art resources to our students. With upcoming regulations requiring architects to produce a Carbon Footprint report as a mandatory consent requirement, integrating V-Quest into all architecture studios becomes essential.”

If you represent an educational institution and are interested in implementing carbon tools and knowledge for your students and faculty, we invite you to contact us. We are eager to support your educational goals and to contribute to the development of the next generation of industry leaders.

TECHFEST / CLIMATE TECH SUMMIT

June has been a big tech month for New Zealand and us.?

We spoke about the 198 states and countries that are enacting various forms of this legislation, and what that means for design and construction professions. Our solution to ease the transition and make carbon reductions achievable was well received.?
