June: Piping Hot Content Potatoes ??????

Dropping hotter than a Corteiz collab, we’re back with our pick of brand partnerships, cultural lookouts and of course, a little bit of WILD AI tuneage!

AIAIAI x Sherelle

We’ve been working with Danish audio design company AIAIAI on their social offering and strategy for a year now. In 2022 we saw the brand’s collab with Sherelle to host a series of workshops as part of the Beautiful Academy aimed at engaging and supporting black and LGBTQI+ musicians. We love to see how this relationship has blossomed from a series of workshops into a permanent London-based music production studio which is free to use for Black and queer artists. It’s so important that brands working with artists go beyond the sponcon to help build long lasting connection that benefits the communities that surround the artist. That’s why we’re pleased to see that in 2023 they’ve given Sherelle even more support. ?

Grimes write a track via her new AI software and makes a track with Kito

LA based producer Kito created a social media storm by releasing ‘Cold Touch’ using Grimes’ Elf.Tech software. The software mimics the Canadian singer’s iconic tones and marks her first official AI release from her repertoire. Love it or hate it, AI is here and probably going to be involved in the way audiences consume and source their entertainment. Who knows maybe your next social advert will be voiced by an AI. Queen Charlotte x Alicia Keys

PHEW! We’ve been sitting on our hands and zipping our lips for a while now and we can FINALLY talk about our Alicia Keys x Queen Charlotte (QC) Global Music Video. We worked with Alicia’s team and Netflix on a live reversion of the classic love song “If I Ain’t Got You,” 20 years after its debut with a 70-plus-piece orchestra of women of colour.

As well as leading on the creative for 90 markets we also delivered our experiential activation in Covent Garden to launch QC in the UK, and had more people attend (well kinda) than when King Charles popped up the following week. Check out the Covvy G action here.?

All in all it was a pretty game changing project for us and we’re so happy to see QC named as one of the most streamed shows since launch! For all you QC keenos we recommend watching the reel and the BTS is here, you can also read what Campaign Magazine thought about it here.?

RA Make Space initiative

We said it as part of this year’s BoC: underground scenes continue to thrive outside of the M25 and brand managers need to pay attention. The Creator economy (not fixed to LDN) continues to boom. It makes sense for savvy marketeers to look at the models presented by stalwarts like RA for future community programmes that connect with communities in meaningful ways that elevate. The Make Space promoter accelerator programme is the perfect community execution. This is a funding pilot to support five up and coming promoters Bristol, Leeds, London and Manchester to arm collectives or individuals with everything they need to put on boss nights and succeed.

Until next month xoxo
