As we move into the summer months, it’s the perfect time to unwind and reflect on the past half-year's achievements. Firstly, a huge thank you is in order to our awesome customers, being the key driver behind our growth and the main reason why we are able to pursue our mission.

H1 has been six very interesting months, proving that the need for creativity within the market is still an absolute necessity, as creativity in ads remains one of the most important drivers behind ad performance. According to Google, creativity drives 70% of a campaigns success, Making it a must-win battle for the modern CMO.

That’s why I’m excited to share our latest innovation: an integration with Google Studio. This visionary feature seamlessly merges creativity with data intelligence, transforming the way you approach marketing.

With this integration, you can dynamically tailor content to each viewer, ensuring relevance with every impression, along with much more.

Product Release: Google Studio Integration

We’re thrilled to announce that the Zuuvi Platform now integrates with Google Studio, significantly enhancing personalisation and retargeting capabilities in your ads.

Fusioning creativity and data-driven intelligence is crucial, perfectly marrying these elements, in turn eliminating the old "performance vs. branding" debate - now you can do both in one setup.

Here are two teasers of the benefits this integration offers:

  • Increased Creative Freedom in Dynamic ads Create a creative shell in Zuuvi. Connect the shell with Google Studio and use whatever content you want within the shell, and change it on the fly. The ad will dynamically be linked up to your Google Studio data.
  • Showcase Only the Most Relevant Ads By using dynamic targeting rules directly from Google data, you're now able to tailor content to the viewer based on every single impression.?

Using Zuuvi with Google Studio is as simple as it gets. Here's a quick-fire guide;

  1. Access Zuuvi Studio, create a new data source, and choose Google Studio.
  2. Copy your code from Google Studio and put it in Zuuvi Studio.
  3. Zuuvi will display the data collected from Google Studio and the keys available for mapping to creatives.
  4. Create your creative and export. It's that simple!?

This month, the award goes to?????? Experimentarium !

This ad created by Experimentarium offers a brief glimpse into the fun experiences available to their visitors.

While these activities are definitely meant for kids, I can't help but feel a tiny bit intrigued... Which proves the high standards of this ad.

The sleek, almost rhythmic appearance created by the fluid text animations are definitely something to be inspired from.

Speaking of appearance, the recurring vibrant blue color across the fast-paced changing video frames gives the ad a visual pop ??

Big kudos to the ad creator, Anne Viberg Pedersen , and Experimentarium for this one!

Tip of the Month ??

There's few bigger pains for ad creators than having designed a masterpiece of a display ad... only to realize your creative weighs more than a brick house. Not literally, but it sure feels like it.

This can be an issue since display ads require hosting - and the price of hosting depends on the size of the creative. Larger ads means less money in your pocket.

So without further ado, here's...

3 ways you should be optimizing your creatives.

1. JPEG files are generally lighter than JPG files. Try converting your chunky JPGs to JPEGs, and in the future, export as JPEG instead. It can actually make a surprising difference!

2. But if your images still aren't slim enough, you'll need to give them a little squeeze. This is where image compressors come in handy. Personally, I use tinyPNG at Zuuvi; simple tool - gets the job done.

What if I have a GIF, that's waaay too big? ... No, you cannot convert GIFs into JPEG for obvious reasons. ??

3. Swap out these hefty?GIFs for video files when it comes to short animations and clips. They are much lighter and often look smoother. Win-win.

These steps will decrease your file size and allowing your piggy bank to stay intact for longer. You should aim for a maximum of 300 kb per display ad.

And trust me - you can be plenty creative with just 300 kb! ??
