The last UX Vocab Club Group Event was so much fun!!! We practiced using the bubble method, with the subject:

How to improve and implement communication skills.

And if you're not familiar with the method, check us out on YouTube as we tested it out as a solution to get everyone in a group on the same page.

Shalette tells us all about Crazy Eights and how to apply the method as an ideation tool to develop solutions.

A computer engineer turned UX master, Shalette challenges Hilary to think outside the bubble method. Shalette says it might narrow the focus too much when developing solutions, and an entirely different approach to brainstorming is Crazy Eights.?

Crazy Eights is a way to think about the aim instead of a product visually.

It's an excellent way to expand the narrow and subjective framework of words and develop more visual communication tools by drawing out eight quick sketches in only eight minutes.

Check out this three-minute video where Shalette explains to Hilary why it might be a challenge and how to overcome it!

Shalette is fantastic, encouraging and open-minded, while Hilary is freaking out and super nervous, pushing her comfort zone!?

The next UX VOCAB CLUB Group Event is?always the last Tuesday of the month. Get your ticket to train with us :)

We went wild this time around at the group event and put the bubble method to the test!! The goal was to see if it functions as a tool to instigate a meaningful conversation between colleagues or a group.?

Our three guests performed spectacularly!!! And Aida came out as the speediest bubble maker on the planet!! Aida completed hers in 2-minutes, while the rest of us, live and in the chat, played catch-up!

We burst all the bubbles by sharing what we wrote. It turned into a game where one person would add to someone else's subtopic, combining and grouping ideas from all of our bubbles.?
