If you could ask a journalist anything about your business or organisation, what would you ask?

Journalists themselves are an essential audience when it comes to generating media interest. Understanding their outlook on your organisation gives you the opportunity to adjust your media outreach accordingly to build stronger relationships and generate more coverage.

For example, if you were to ask a group of journalists to rate you and your competitors, how could you use their ratings?

?? If your organisation was rated highly, and competitors were rated low, then that could indicate a strong media presence and you would simply need to keep your media strategy on course.

?? ?? However, if you were rated neutral or negative and your competitors were rated highly, then you may need to focus on building better relationships with the journalists you engage with to drive greater brand awareness.
