Contentious Clinic -?Elder Abuse

?On Wednesday 14th June, Cara Hough from IDR will be joined by Paul Smith from Paul Smith Consultancy, they'll be chatting Elder Abuse discussing the notion of it?and share experiences of dealing with these types of cases.

This is the first session in which we'll have a guest on our live webinar, Paul is a qualified Forensic Accountant and a former seasoned police Detective Sergeant. His skill set is unique, fusing his skills, experience and training as a Detective with accountancy.

Our survey says, the 1975 Act?

We recently asked you what you'd like training on and top runners were Larke vs Nugus requests, preventative measures and the 1975 Act.?

Over half surveyed requested individual claims under the Act. In July Eleanor Stenson will run a full Contentious Clinic on claims that can be made, she'll also cover off the pitfalls and benefits of making a claim under the 1975 Act.?

Banking on inheritance?

This week?Todays Wills and Probate?reported on a new survey that has revealed?34% are now banking on an inheritance.?The survey also found that two in five people either expect an inheritance or have already received one (38%).
