Comprehensive recruitment and advisory services for cannabis companies. We are Talent in Cannabis.
Greetings to all our cannabis enthusiasts as well as newcomers!
We are thrilled to welcome you to the latest installment of our monthly blog series, where we dive deep into the ever-evolving world of cannabis. We?just returned from Missouri, where unbeknownst to us, it turns out smoked-filled rooms in Kansas City are typically rib-related, not necessarily weed. Weed and BBQ though, in such proximity, is yet another reason to believe the Missouri hype and the up-and-to-the-right climb. To try and summarize all the legislative advances, medical breakthroughs, social equity and inclusion commitments, and industry innovation across America is a tall order given the length of our blogs and, let’s get it out, the ever-dwindling attention spans.?
So, for brevity and comprehension, this week's newsletter is a brief introduction and orientation around?cannabis compensation in America, as well as a sendoff for our illustrious colleague?Karen Meshkov.?
Also, Jason is speaking on an upcoming?Cannaployment webinar?and tethered near the bottom, check out our recent?podcast interview?with Dai Truong from Highly Objective.?

We find ourselves in an era where the relentless pursuit of financial recompense reigns supreme, often overshadowing and creating its own separate cost for notions of intrinsic satisfaction and personal fulfillment.
It’s within this context that we’re going to review a small historical timeline of compensation in America, as well as confront and define the natural paradox that is compensation in cannabis.
