June DVC Community Updates
???? Hi friend!
Getting it done right before the month ends!?What a month was June! ??
?The Latest
DVC has brought engineering best practices to the ML and data world, making model development more standardized and reproducible. Now we want to make it work when the command line isn't the right fit, and it's easier to work in code, an IDE, or on the web. This doesn't mean we forgot about DVC fundamentals -- data versioning is the core of what we do.
We're just catching up from an amazing time full of learning and meeting brilliant people at CVPR. There we introduced the new tool we are building that extends the power of data versioning and management to unstructured data and delivers querying power at a massive scale.?More info to come in the coming months, but the latest can be found?here .?
If you couldn't make the event and are curious about what CVPR is like, I created a?short recap video ?(with extra party footage added on at the end because it was pretty hype!)?

Why Life Can't Be Simpler ?- A great article from fs.blog recommended to me by Community member Sami Jawhar, on Tesler's law and the trade-off between complexity and simplicity.?Great food for thought when designing tools for users and like I always say, things aren't usually worth doing unless they are hard. ????
Let's remember that what we're doing is hard and winning the race with deception is not really winning.??
