We help your brand’s story run faster, jump higher, and rise above the noise.
At DoubleShot Creative, we share our favorite marketing campaigns, social media posts, design trends, and more with each other to continue pushing the boundaries of creativity. When you witness someone else’s creative genius, it can often inspire you to tap into yours. So, let’s lose ourselves in these creative marketing examples for a few minutes and look at some of our most recent creative crushes this month.
Our founder and creative director,?Patty Tulloch, crushed on this throwback collaboration with Pop-Tarts. Influencers on Instagram and TikTok are incorporating nostalgia into their content by sharing ‘90s and early 2000s trends to comfort their audience of simpler times.
The trend is also catching on with logos. Check out Burger King’s Whooper of a refresh!
And the content attracts a broad audience! According to?Squadhelp, the two greatest fan groups of nostalgic and retro branding are those aged 65+ and those aged 25-34.
It’s baaaaack
Continuing on the retro theme, our Digital Marketing Strategist,?Katie Burton, enjoyed VW’s Instagram campaign announcing the “return” of their bus. From creative copy to eye-catching graphics, this is a class in how social media is done!

Bow-WOW
Our creative director,?Lauren Wilson, enjoyed this logo with its playful shapes and fun font.

Kathy Hutton, DSC VP of production, enjoyed these cool spins on magazine covers. Illustrators Ana Strumpf and Hattie Stewart reimagined magazine covers with hand-drawn patterns and embellishments.
