In this June edition of our monthly newsletter, let's get to know our CTO Tuomo, aka T. Dogg - a man of few words, but even more powerful ones! ??

1?? What's your role at Readpeak and how long have you been with us?

I originally joined Readpeak as a software engineer over 8 years ago. I’ve been the CTO for four years.

2?? What's your favourite part about working at Readpeak?

The best part is seeing the solutions work in production. It is rewarding to see, for example, a new algorithm do what was intended and improve the performance of the product. Lunch is nice also.

3?? What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Other than hanging with the family, I enjoy playing football and Quakeworld.

4?? What's your favourite quote or motto that you live by??

Keep a cool head.

5??What's a book, movie, or podcast that you'd recommend to others and why?

Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. It provides interesting insights into decision making and why often it goes wrong.
