The U.S. Venture Sustainability Accelerator invests $100,000 into each of five startups per cohort that are solving problems in the sustainability and/or mobility space.
Ranging from tracking animal movements for signs of disease to using drones and other automated equipment to monitor crops as they grow.
Women who have won past Governor’s Business Plan Contests have gone on to grow and sell successful health tech companies despite the challenges facing female entrepreneurs.
The VC firm, Idea Fund of La Crosse , announced the fund, which aims to invest in pre-revenue and early-stage businesses in agriculture, manufacturing, health care and logistics.
COnovate, Inc. is developing new battery technologies that could offer faster charging and more storage capacity.
EnsoData announced that it is partnering with Aeroflow Sleep to use predictive clinical AI tools to enable more timely patient care, increase patient adherence, and strengthen the foundational provider-patient connection in the area of personalized sleep apnea care.
According to Pitchbook, Wisconsin startups raised at least $19.85 million in April. See the link for all known investments.
The Summerfest Tech Pitch Competition returns on June 26 with eight startups competing for a chance to win a share of $50,000 in prize money.
Joel Roberts is developing a “traffic analytics software that utilizes existing traffic camera detectors and advanced computer vision to create granular, geographically mapped datasets that describe the precise path of cars, pedestrians, bicycles, and transit in real-time.” The resulting data can be used to retime stoplights and improve the safety of intersections.
Waukesha County Technical College and gener8tor will recruit startups from the Waukesha County region in an effort to support startups based in or interested in relocating to the region.
Mike Gallagher's deep insights into public policy and global markets will be invaluable as TitletownTech continues to invest in and support innovations across diverse sectors such as advanced manufacturing and construction, supply chain and logistics, digital health, agriculture, water, and the environment, and sports and media.
