Water & Wastewater Management:?

• Recycled an impressive 41.4 million gallons of industrial effluent.?

• Reused 7.3 million gallons of domestic effluent for gardening and landscaping.?

Air Pollution Management:?

• Maintained stack emissions and ambient air quality well below Pollution Control Board limits.?

• Converted 412 MT of Parali (post-harvest residue) into bioenergy, helping reduce stubble burning.?

Waste Management:?

• Recycled 18,223 MT of non-hazardous and 219 MT of hazardous waste.?

• Made the switch to 100% recycled paper cartons for transit packaging.?

• Utilized 4.7 MT of FSC certified packaging for our bedding products.?

Afforestation & Green Initiatives:?

• Planted 5,675 trees in Punjab and MP under our “Harit Mahotsav” initiative.?

• Expanded green belt areas to 297 acres in Punjab and 579 acres in Budhni, nurturing over 1 million trees.?

Renewable Energy & Decarbonization:?

• Generated 5.73 million kWh of solar power, meeting 12% of Budhni’s energy needs.?

• Set ambitious SBTi targets:?

• 42% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions by 2030.?

• Carbon neutrality by 2050.?

• 30% reduction in Scope 3 GHG emissions by 2033.?

• Achieved 59% biomass blending in Punjab and 10% in MP, marking a significant phase-out of coal in our fuel mix.?

World Environment Day (June 5, 2024):?

• Hosted insightful sessions on environmental sustainability and cleanliness.?

Life Cycle Assessment:?

• Began evaluating the environmental impact of our towels and sheets in collaboration with Greenstory.??
