June 2022 Journal
Hello again,
It's been another hectic month on my end, kicking off with witnessing Liam Gallagher's long-awaited return to Knebworth. In front of?a crowd of 160,000 fans over two nights and a full 26 years after he headlined with Oasis at his old stomping ground, he delivered?an?electrifying?performance and brought the genre to a new generation.?
I remember seeing Liam become an effortless style icon in his own right with his infamous safari jacket?and inimitable cheek?- it's actually?one of the first things that really caught my eye,?inspired me to create and hone my craft as a tailor, so?I couldn't be more chuffed to have seen (as Liam put it) 'History: part 2' live in person.?
Another clear highlight for June has been the thrills?- and frills - of Royal Ascot. While none of Her Majesty's horses took?pole position, it was undoubtedly a winning month for the world's second longest-serving sovereign?as she and cheering crowds of patriotic Brits?celebrated her platinum jubilee.?
From bunting to birdies, we also saw?Matthew Fitzpatrick take the title at the US Open - making him the fourth Englishman in 100 years to achieve the accolade and mark the first major trophy of his career.?
Closer to home, I've also had my first few suits handed over to clients who are soon to be celebrating?their?weddings?this summer - and doing so in sophisticated style. Good luck and best wishes to all my budding grooms out there!?
Speaking of bespoke tailoring, read on to find out why most men miss the mark when it comes to planning, explore why vegan threads make sure that style is suited to every taste and explore why one father and son duo will never go 'off the peg'?again after their incredible Adam James Bespoke experience...

Tight turnaround? You can't rush quality craftsmanship
Those of you lucky enough to own a Porsche will know that the average wait time for it to be carefully constructed and calibrated is between six and eighteen months. That seems perfectly reasonable when you consider the precision that goes into every detail, right?
The same can be (and should be) said of tailoring. Both a bespoke suit and a high-end car are status symbols in their own right - but you'll arguably get a lot more wear from your wardrobe.?
Sadly, people often don't factor in enough time to have a truly bespoke suit made for their special occasion - whatever that might be. The men among us are surely guilty of suffering from this blind spot in the male mentality (it's certainly caught me out on a few occasions!) - so let's talk turnarounds.?

Client spotlight: “I'll never go 'off the peg' again!"
With Fathers’ Day fresh in our minds, I thought it would be only fitting to share a recent testimonial I received from a father and son who invested in a pair of complementary bespoke suits
“I had a great experience with Adam James when buying tailored suits for the first time for my son and I,” enthuses Nigel.?
“Adam immediately put us at ease with his nice manner and guided us through the process from start to finish, giving us advice when required whilst allowing us to make our own choices.”
