LinkedIn Company Updates

??LinkedIn launched Premium Company Page, a subscription allowing subscribers to add a testimonial, custom button,n and credentials to Top Card. It is expected to be globally available by the end of July.

??Launches new Premium Business enhancements

LinkedIn announced new updates for its newsletter creation platform, including an updated reader UI, member & page embedding in articles, and new tools. The comments now shifted to the right of the main display. More than 184K newsletters are being published on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn Premium subscribers are getting access to a range of new job discovery and application tools, including AI-based job application feedback, enhanced cover letter assistance and conversational queries to find open roles

Meta

Meta’s all-out A.I. push has taken a hit in Europe, with the company forced to scale back its A.I. plans in Europe amid concerns about how it’s looking to fuel its A.I. models with user data, from both Facebook and Instagram.

X /Twiter

X Analytics now requires you to be on X Premium to view the analytics of the new dashboard. In the recent past, you could view analytics of our page without paying

??X analytics has a new dashboard with bar graphs that app researchers spotted last week

Here is what the new Advanced X Analytics looks like:

?You can filter according to days, months and years

?You can filter according to impressions, likes, new followers, replies, profile visits and link clicks

?It now has a bar graph to show comparison and performance

TikTok rolls out image search capabilities in TikTok Shop

YouTube’s updated Desktop UI is now available to all Premium Subscribers. U.I. places the video title, description, and comments to the right of the video player, with recommendations at the bottom?

Spotify

Spotify announced on Thursday that it’s venturing further into the ad space with its first in-house creative agency called Creative Lab, helping brands create custom marketing campaigns. Spotify has 615 million listeners.?

OpenAI, Apple, X

Elon Musk threatens to ban Apple devices at his companies in response to Apple's biggest iOS 18 announcement at WWDC 2024. But, Apple's integration with ChatGPT requires explicit permission from a user before any information is pinged to OpenAI's servers.

Retired U.S. Army & director of the National Security Agency, General Paul Nakason, joins OpenAI's Safety and Security Committee Board, which is responsible for making recommendations to the full Board on critical safety and security decisions for all OpenAI projects and operations

Elon Musk dropped his breach of contract lawsuit against OpenAI that he filed in March
