The Juncture Art Prize - be part of something new

Too many wonderful artists are lost to the Australian arts scene at a critical juncture - their mid-career.

It can be any number of things - life gets tough, their practice is not progressing, or financial security seems like a distant hope. So, at Linden New Art we are taking the exciting step of launching The Juncture Art Prize to find, inspire and nurture the next generation of Australian artists.

This is a major new prize that seeks to advance mid-career artist careers through mentoring, connections and exposure.

Donate by 31 May and your donation will be matched by Creative Partnerships Australia.

We will select 10 finalists who will all participate in an 18-month mentoring program so they can build their own community of practice, share knowledge, learn from each other and grow their networks. Our extensive conversations with contemporary artists have told us that what they need most is guidance on and we will develop a program tailored to their needs.

In addition, one major prize winner will receive a cash prize of $20,000 as well as a major solo exhibition at Linden.

We are fundraising now to make this ambition a reality - Creative Partnerships Australia is supporting this initiative through their Plus One program. Every donation made up to 31 May will be matched by Creative Partnerships Australia up to a total of $50,000.

We invite you to be part of the Juncture Art Prize by making a donation towards this initiative. Find out more about the Juncture Art Prize here.
